Association of County Officials (WACO)
The membership includes elected county assessors, auditors, clerks, coroners
and medical examiners, prosecuting attorneys, sheriffs, treasurers and
comparable appointed officials in charter counties.
WACO is a
non-profit, bi-partisan organization. WACO is comprised of affiliate
organizations for every county official in Washington's 39 counties. These
affiliate associations meet throughout the year, bringing colleagues
together to discuss issues of common interest and to exchange ideas and
opinions. |
Washington
State Association of Counties (WSAC)
WSAC is a non-profit/non-partisan
organization that represents Washington's counties before the state
legislature, the state executive branch, and regulatory agencies.
Members include Elected County Commissioners, Councilmembers and
Executives. Other (non-voting) members include directors and staff of
the following departments: Public Works, Public Health, Human Services,
Emergency Management, Administrative Services, Clerks of the
Board/Council, Planning & Development, WSU Extension and Parks &
Recreation. WSAC also includes corporate (non-voting) members through
the Associate Member Program. |

Counties Risk Pool (WCRP)
Provide comprehensive and economical risk coverage, reduce the frequency
and severity of losses, and decrease costs incurred in the managing and
litigation of claims. |

Counties Insurance Fund (WCIF)
Provides leadership in the area of benefits bringing best value coverage
and outstanding customer service to counties and county employees of
Washington State. |
