The Washington Counties’ Scholarship Fund offers five $3,000 awards to children of county employees who will be enrolled full-time in a baccalaureate program, associate degree program or vocational/technical certification program.

Students throughout our state work hard to earn top marks, they dream of the college they’ll attend and the education they’ll receive. Unfortunately, many of those students can’t afford to get the education of their dreams. We want these students to reach their full potential.

The Washington Counties Scholarship Fund is kept going and growing through the generosity of the county family. It is a joint project of the Washington Association of County Officials (WACO) and the Washington State Association of Counties (WSAC). Since 1993, the Washington Counties Scholarship Fund has awarded a total of $153,040.

Applications for the 2012/13 School Year will be available:  March 15, 2012.
